I currently live in Chennai (formerly Madras) in South India, where I am a blogger and consultant. I have a Master's degree in environmental planning from the University of Toronto. The research skills that I have gained through my Master's equip me both for long-form journalism, and for consulting assignments in the field of monitoring and evaluation. I have a specific focus on enterprises and social enterprises.
As I have lived in several countries in Asia, as well as in North America and in the U.K., I am in an unique position to write about India for an international audience. I have also worked in the development sector for five years, and am a board member of the Covenant Centre for Development.
